Our Story

Welcome to Home Style Goodies where everything is Home Made and made with Love by me "The Black SalsaQueen". Home Style Goodies came about when both my parents were diagnosed with life-threatening diseases weeks apart from each other. First, my father was diagnosed with Dementia then weeks later my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Both have passed away from their illnesses my father passed November 21, 2020, and my mother March 21, 2024. My parents always taught me and my siblings to do what we love best and for me, that was caregiver and cooking. Well, I became a CNA and worked at a Catholic hospital which I loved but after my parents' diagnosis, I left my career job to care for my parents. My mother was a very unique lady, she was fashionable, creative, and an awesome cook. She taught me at an early age how to become an entrepreneur and this is how "Home Style Goodies" was born!
